A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Deborah Wharton

I have the joy of working with the youngest in God’s kingdom for the past 25 years. We opened Joyful Noise Christian School in 1997 and have grown to wait list capacity. We are opening our second campus this year. Our goal for Joyful Noise is to be a “home away from home” with a family atmosphere. Our vision in creating a nurturing, warm, colorful and visually unique environment, bringing the classrooms to life, will be evident the moment you walk through our doors.

Our mature, Christian, professional staff takes a team approach in the day-to-day operations of the program and believe when we focus on our God given gifts there is nothing more rewarding then spending every day in joy.

OUR PROGRAM

We offer hands-on materials essential to a young child's ability to master concepts. Our program differs from a traditional developmental program in that we place more emphasis on academic work, especially in the pre-Kindergarten classrooms.

Our classrooms feature an ordered arrangement of learning materials in a warm, non-competitive, anti-biased environment. As a child repeats an exercise and becomes involved in a task, concentration develops and the child gains confidence through repeated success and a love of learning. Our program allows each child to progress to his or her maximum potential at his or her own developmental rate.

Responsibility, respect, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to view experiences from different perspectives are also emphasized.

Our goal is to aid in the development of the child physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and academically. We not only want each child to feel a strong sense of belonging, but we want each parent to feel confident and proud that his or her child is a student at Joyful Noise Christian School.

We offer additional ½ hour classes in: Gymnastics, Soccer, Karate, Music and Dance and the Pre-K class schedules 6 field trips through out the year.

Preschool

2-4 years

Daily small-group instruction which promotes skill development
The perfect balance of nurturing, learning and playtime
An environment focused on the development of the whole child
A variety of activities that support learning concepts for this age group
Encouragement and support that lead to confidence, self-esteem and a love of learning
Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child's day

Pre-Kindergarten

3-5 years

Curriculum aligned with that of local elementary schools to make transition smooth and natural
